We recently celebrated our 14th birthday here at AMA Waste, something we attribute to our quality service, as well as our committed and hardworking team.

We know the team is the reason the business has been so successful – everyone’s in it together.

Our Founder and Managing Director Ben Lukey said, “We’ve grown to become a company that’s now on track to turn over in excess of £16 million this year, and there’s no reason not to believe that we can double that over the next five years.”

Ben also added, “With record growth and sales up over 30%, the exponential growth we have seen recently is reflected in the expansion of our team, as we welcomed seven new people to the company recently.”

April was a cracking month for AMA; we had our best day ever – twice! We also had our best week ever – three times over during the month. This success has led to a sharp increase in calls, meaning we have had to recruit – and fast!

To that end, we’ve recently welcomed Adrian Birt, Sarah Tyres, Joanne Wood, Martin McNeil, Arune Mockeviciene and Kala Amourto the customer service and finance teams.

We see no reason why the company can’t potentially double in size over the next few years, as significant industry names form relationships with us, including the likes of Skanska UK, one of the UK’s leading contractors, and Barhale, the civil engineering and infrastructure specialist.

This growth has accompanied a new website launch and new signage following our recent brand overhaul.
